My Review of Walk This Way by Aerosmith with Stephen Davis

I just finished reading Walk This Way, and I thank God that Aerosmith decided to participate in the writing of this book, otherwise I guarantee that it would have been Hammer of the Gods, Part 2.

But instead, this is a really interesting read for any Aerosmith or classic rock fan. These five guys have seen and been through so much that we are lucky that they remember most of it to write it down.

I loved that this book was in the band's (and their entourage's) words because it gave several sides of the story. It also gave me a little insight into how difficult it must be for a band to mature and grow creatively and still stay together as a band and as friends.

And it is a nice round story to boot. They meet when they are young, fall in love with each other, go through some tough times, then realize that their first love was their true love and get back together. A perfect romance and a happy ending. Everyone cheers.

My only question for Aerosmith left unanswered by this tell-all is, "Are you sure that you regret all those years of drug abuse? It sounds like you had an awful lot of fun and still came out on top."
