My Review of The Griffin & Sabine Trilogy :
(Sabine's Notebook/the Golden Mean/Griffin & Sabine) by Nick Bantock

This is a sweet, romantic trilogy that is as fun to read as a children's book. You look at postcards, turn thick pages and open envelopes to learn the story. It feels as if you found an old box of letters in your attic and are trying to find out about your home's previous owners.

If you can be romantic and think of these book in that fashion, then you will love finding out about Griffin and Sabine.

Unfortunately, these people are not real. So their completely unrealistic and expeditious event of falling-in-love can be either charming and mystical or ridiculous and boring, depending on how you look at things.

I think that if you believe in true love and still read your horoscope, then this story of separated love will enchant you. And the open ending might not even bother you too much.

P.S. I liked this trilogy, but I couldn't imagine buying each of the three books individually. They only belong together and besides that, the whole thing took about an hour to read.
