My Review of Endless Night by Agatha Christie

This is the first Agatha Christie book that I have read in a couple years and what a nice surprise.

This book is different from other novels of hers that I have read. It is one of Agatha Christie's later stories and is a suspense rather than a solve-the-murder mystery.

I enjoyed the romantic story of the two soulmates who fall in love and begin their life together. Although I found the mystery surrounding the land that they lived on the most interesting part, and that was never fully explained.

The reader never knows when or if they are going to be hit by death. While the nice little twist at the end is not totally plausible, it is surprising, interesting and (as a romantic) slightly disappointing. And the build up to the climax definitely kept me hooked. I think this would make a great movie.
