My Review of Black Diamond: The Unauthorized Biograpy of KISS by Dale Sherman

Well, I have an affinity for these types of books, so surprise, surpise, I really enjoyed reading this and found it very interesting.

The book isn't particularily well written and there are way to many editing errors, which really began to grate on my nerves after a while. But, that aside, there was a lot of really fascinating information about how KISS became a band and how they have survived and been successsful for over 25 years. There are a lot of quotes from the band and the people who helped them get where they are today.

Overall, this book is a mostly well-done, non-biased history of the band up through around 1996.
